Advanced ticket purchases are strongly advised. This is a limited engagement and cannot be extended. You may purchase your tickets in advance, with a credit card, through OvationTix. Please Click here to purchase your tickets now.

Although there are really no bad seats in our 180 - seat house we offer reserved seating. You may select your seat when purchasing tickets or ask for best available - so please book early!

You may purchase tickets at the door the day of the show one hour prior to the workshop. The theatre box office accepts cash and credit cards. You may call the theatre hotline: 212-866-5170 the morning of the show to hear a recorded message as to the availability of seats.

Are the seats elevated on tiers? Yes

How many seats are in the theatre? 180

Is there assigned seating? Yes, your seats are assigned in the order your ticket purchase was received or you may select your seats upon purchase

Where do I pickup my tickets? You will pick up your ticket at the theatre box office. The box office opens one-half hour prior to the workshop

Are there age restrictions? No, all ages are welcome - even babies. All we ask is if your child gets fussy - to please step out into the lobby. An adult must accompany children under the age of 12

Is there a charge for babies? Any child under the age of 2 who sits on an adults lap my attend the show free of charge

Can I bring a stroller? Strollers are not allowed in the theatre or workshop area - but you can park it safely in our designated "stroller parking lot"

Where is the workshop held? The pre-show arts workshop is held in the theatre in front of the stage

Do the parents attend the workshop? Absolutely! You wouldn't want to miss the fun. But there is no charge for adults who are accompanying a child

How long is the workshop? The workshop is approximately 45 minutes long and ends about 10 minutes prior to the start of the show - which gives you time to use the restrooms and find your seats in the theatre

What happens in the workshop? You will meet two of the actors from the play who begin by discussing how we turned the book into a show. We'll also discuss the message of the story. Then everyone gets a chance to make an art project

How long is the show? The Selfish Giant is approximately 50 minutes in length with no intermission

How many actors are in the show? The Velveteen Rabbit has 4 very talented actors

Are the actors' adults or children? All the actors are professional adult performers (except for the role of Sam)

Is there live music? Yes, The Selfish Giant features a Celtic Band and you will be delighted with the music

Is there dancing in the show? Yes, there is a variety of dancing in the show including ballet

What kind of music is in the show? The Selfish Giant features Classic Celtic music as well as original songs

What is the production like? The Selfish Giant is performed on a full professional stage. You'll enjoy a variet of scenes created to look like the story unfolding in Oscar Wildes imagination and you'll love the costumes too!

Is there a dress code? If you are planning on attending the pre-show arts workshop we suggest you dress comfortably and casually. We want you to relax and have a good time

Can we buy any food at the theatre? The theatre is surrounded by wonderful cafes and restaurants but please remember there is no eating in the theatre.
